31 March, 1945 in Ravensbruck concentration camp was killed the nun Maria, the woman with a heart full of love. It is believed that Mother Maria’s last act was to take the place of a Jewish woman who was being sent to death in the gas chambers, voluntarily dying in her place. Today I sing “Ave Maria” in memory of this beautiful and courageous woman.

31 März, im Konzentrationslager in Ravensbruck wird die orthodoxe Nonne Maria ermordet, die Frau mit dem Herzen voller Liebe. Ihr letzter Akt, war das ihr Leben für das Leben einer jüdischen Mutter zu opfern, und an ihrer Stelle in der Gaskammer zu sterben. Ein Ave Maria, das der Videomacher der Heiligen widmet, in Erinnerung an diese wunderschöne und couragierte Frau.
